Paradigm’s English Language Teachers | Paradigm’s Thai Language Teachers

Taree (Head Instructor)
Taree Jarungjit has been a teacher
since 1965, when she began working
as a primary and secondary school teacher.

In 1987, Taree started teaching Thai
to foreigners at a Thai language school.
There, she taught Thai conversation,
reading and writing to students of all levels. Today, Taree teaches Thai listening,
speaking, reading, and writing, as well as speech coaching,
at Paradigm Language Institute.

Stop

A native Bangkokian, Nawaratana Aimratanalert- aka Stop- gained her first experience teaching Thai to foreigners
of all levels at a language school here
in Bangkok.

After working in other capacities, Stop realized that she missed teaching and has joined Paradigm so that she can once again
help students learn Thai and have fun along the way.

Stop loves to travel and has explored almost all of Thailand’s 76 provinces. She also loves nature and the easy going Thai way
of life.

Pong

Phachayut Phongphluthong, aka Pong,
has been teaching Thai to foreigners
for 9 years.

In addition, Pong has organized educational trips to some historical places like Sukhothai,

Ayuddhaya, and Supanburi, during which students can learn
about Thai architecture, social history, customs and culture.

One of his students had this to say about him: “Pong not only
has an effective style of teaching and a knack for helping
his students learn, but also is just hilarious!

Learning with him is full of laughs and never, ever boring!”

Poonim

Thanyarach Buanart is her full name,
but you can call her “Poonim.”
Before becoming a teacher,she worked
as a tour guide because she loves to travel
around Thailand and share the beauty
of Thailand and Thai culture with foreigners.

Now, as a teacher, she integrates these experiences into
her teaching, and of course, gets to share the Thai language
with you too! So, if you would like to learn Thai,
as well as know more about Thai culture, customs, and lifestyle,
Poonim can help!

Jaycee

After graduating Mahidol University
with a Nursing Certificate, and serving
in the army for 12 years, Jarudsri Srisook realized that there were still many things
to do and learn in life. Therefore, in order
to gain more experience in life and learn foreign languages,
she retired from the army and started traveling.

While studying foreign languages in 2004, Jaycee became
an instructor of Thai as a foreign language, and in the process realized teaching helped her achieve her dream: being a teacher facilitated her helping others, in addition to her sharing knowledge, experience, and culture with foreigners! Since then, she has really enjoyed teaching and life. This is Jaycee! She invites you to study Thai at Paradigm, and share life stories with her – in Thai
of course!
Taree really loves to read and write and has written about
her experiences teaching Thai and having fun with the Thai language, as there are a lot of funny stories of foreign students
learning Thai as their second language.

This writing was actually published as a comedy pocket book
and it made Thai readers happy to read something about foreigners
and their Thai language.

If you’re interested in this book and want to know how funny
it is, you can read it on this website.

TV

Napadanai Laongbua, or “TV” for short,
has a lot to share with you. He brings
to Paradigm 9 years of experience
teaching Thai to foreigners in one
language school, and 4 years lecturing
in another. TV is excited to help you

enjoy your stay in Thailand and make your life here more
comfortable and fun.

and loves to share Thai culture with foreigners.

                                                                   Get

Nattarada Chaokampra’s nickname is Get.
It sounds like an English word, right?
Actually there’s a funny story behind it.

Actually, her name is ‘Great’, but as you’ll
learn, Thai doesn’t have many consonant clusters. The result is that the Thai accent turns ‘great’ into get’, and there we are!

She’s been teaching Thai for 5 years, to foreigners from all over
the world. She likes it a lot, because as she says, “It has really opened my mind, because I can exchange opinions, language, culture, etc. with my students.”

When you come to study at Paradigm, you will definitely
have a lot of fun learning Thai, and what’s more, you’ll learn
the Thai way of life – our culture, thoughts and beliefs, etc.
Come make friends with us and learn the real Thai way!

                                                        Ko

Sarinpas Thaweekong, or “Ko,” had this
to say about teaching Thai: “You might
not know how difficult your own language
is until you have to teach it to foreigners.
To me, teaching the Thai language is very
fun and challenging. Through teaching,
I have learnt many new things about my
own language, and look forward to sharing
this experience with you.

And as you know, learning language is not only about the language itself; it’s also about learning culture and customs,
and having fun!”

Whether you already know some Thai or don’t know any at all,
and whether or not you are familiar with Thai culture,
Ko looks forward to meeting you at Paradigm and invites you
to study with us!

We make learning Thai easy and fun!
