“We felt a bit strange when meeting the teacher for the first time because IELTS is a UK test, but the teacher is an American. We were worried if this would work.
Before we decided to study at Paradigm, we had visited many schools. But at the end, we chose Paradigm. The reason is easy and simple: there are few students in the class.
We also had a chance to do the diagnostic test before the beginning of the class. It made us aware of our weaknesses and mistakes.
After a few classes, our worry about an American teaching IELTS was completely gone. We realize that it doesn’t matter if the instructor is an American. It makes no difference. What’s important is our own determination. Even though we didn’t learn from a British, Paradigm’s American teacher didn’t let us down. He was very hard-working. If we don’t understand a single point, he would come back with a full detail and extra exercise about the topic.
Another thing that we like about IELTS class here is that we have done a lot of writing practices. This is another reason that studying with a professional is better than studying at home by ourselves. There’s someone to check our errors!
There were also practice tests during the course. Each test result showed our improvement as well as the points that were still needed to improve. That really makes us familiarize with the test and grammar errors.
Aside from the instructor, his techniques, and course details, we also like the staff here. They are really helpful and friendly. We’ve gathered a lot of useful information, both about courses and studying abroad. Furthermore, the transportation is very convenient. The school is very close to BTS.
If there’s a chance, we would definitely come back and study here.”
